“Thank you so much Gina! The work both kids are doing with you really shows in their school work, but more importantly, in their confidence.”

“Gina I just wanted to say that I added a math minor because I was sad when I finished all my math requirements and I’ve been taking 300 level math classes for a couple years now, getting good grades and loving the classes…I remember when my mom recognized that the math instruction I was getting in elementary school wasn’t meshing with my learning style and I was struggling with it…I was the only kid to not pass the multiplication table test and I wasn’t allowed to go to the pizza party…I dreaded math, I HATED math…so when she took me to you I dreaded and hated you as well…there were tears and there were fights but it took not too long for me to start to like math and then love math…and now look where I am!!! I just can’t get enough. I ran into one of my elementary school teachers and she was so shocked when I said I was studying engineering with a math minor. I don’t think she believed I had the ability to excel in math. But really all I needed was someone patient and creative enough to teach me to love it. In my opinion, anyone can excel in math…some people need a different approach or extra help to learn it. And I think it’s so cool that this is one of the many things you do with your life. Thank you so so so SOOO much.”
“Words can not express the gratitude we have for your weekly math class…you brought sunshine to Joseph’s love of math. Thank you for making that happen.”

“I can’t thank you enough for everything you’ve done for me this year. I would never have passed Calculus without you. I don’t know what I’m going to do without you next year in college! I really appreciate all you have done for me.”
“Thank you so much for being ever so helpful. Your patient and caring attitude truly did help me excel in math these past two years…I will miss you a ton in college!”
“Thanx for a great year of math. I had a great time and really enjoyed it. You’re a great teacher.”
“Thank you so much for a wonderful, math-filled year. Casey lights up when he gets to do math, and I attribute that largely to you. I love it when I pick him up from AME or Algebra and he’s vibrating with excitement.”

“I really appreciate you taking the time to teach us all these cool tricks for many types of math problems! Thank you so much! I love your sense of humor!”
“Thank you so much for teaching us! I learned lots and I had a lot of fun playing games like Splat and Tensies!”

“As Sophie’s high school career comes to a close, we are reminded of the wonderful teachers she has had during the last four years. And you definitely come to mind as one of the best! Thank you for helping Sophie develop confidence in Math!”
You are the reason my math grade is what it is. Not only that, you have occasionally made me excited about Calculus (which is a big accomplishment). Basically I will love you for ∞.
Thank you for all the help over the years – you have saved my math career so many times!
Last year was really fun and you are the best math teacher I have ever had. You made math fun and you definitely helped my grades last year. Thanks so much and sorry for all the grief!
The tutoring I received during the past year has been invaluable! I truly feel like I’ve started to understand math, and I feel motivated to continue learning ebonite it. College math will far more manageable due to this past year. Thank you so much!
You are seriously awesome! You are basically the reason why I’m getting into school at Princeton. I don’tm know where I would be without your help over the last two years! You have helped me in more ways than just math.
Thank you for tutoring me. I would have been completely lost in Pre-Calc and Calculus without you. The tutoring sessions were a lot of fun and they thought me stuff as well. I’m going to ASU and I’m in the Barnett Honors College. I’m studying Biomedical Engineeering on a full ride. You were definitely a big part in me receiving my scholarship. Thank you so much!
You helped me nice than I can ever put into words! I wouldn’t have been able to survive this year without you. I don’t know how you can take such hard concepts and put then into such simple words that actually make sense! I’m sad I only got you for one year. You are amazing!
You are one of the most inspiring people I have ever met. I am so thankful that I have known you the last few years. I genuinely hated math before you, and now I actually enjoy it (never thought that would happen). Thank you for being so encouraging and calming! I appreciate you so much!
Thank you so much. I wouldn’t have succeeded in math without you. You have been an unbelievable positive force in my life. Math was easy with you helping me. You helped me get my first 4.0 in high school. I wish I could take you to college with me!
I am so glad you came into my life. Not only did you help me from going insane from math class junior and senior year, but you gave me something to look forward to each week! I loved meeting with you at group, but i especially loved tutoring with you on-on-one. I got that extra boost of confidence for math class and I got to know an extraordinary wonderful and inspirational woman. You are so passionate and dedicated to your students, your causes and your family and that is so, so admirable.
I can’t really express how grateful I am for everything you have given me. You have inspired me and helped me grow so much. My love for math h as grown exponentially (heh) because of you. Math is the language of the universe! Thank you for teaching me that. Your continuous support and the life that radiates from you is truly inspiring.
Long overdue thank you from Clay W.’s mom on giving him a lifelong love of mathematics. He heads to Budapest Institute of Mathematics next year on a study abroad and plans to study theoretical math and mathematics education there.
Clay spent his junior year in France with Rotary and became enamored with languages and international travel. After spending last summer in Tokyo learning Japanese, he is currently a sophomore at Macalester University in St Paul. Macalester is a liberal arts school with a very strong applied mathematics and statistics program. He just completed a J-term circuits class at Washington University in St Louis and intends to pursue Electrical Engineering at Wash U after Macalester via their 4-2 dual degree program.
Although not a pack rat by nature, Clay has kept his math notebook from your Super Summer class as one of his prized possessions. He referred to it for several years after your course.
Clay education has been filled with top notch educators. But none can hold a candle to you in my opinion because you fed the spark. Without you he might not even be on this journey.
So thank you Gina for everything you do. It makes a difference.
